Learning Design
David Kolb identified 4 dimensions essential to the learning process. Experiential Learning is designed to take learners round the Learning Cycle. Exercises and outdoor projects enable participants to engage themselves physically, mentally and emotionally in activities which highlight day-to-day work issues and to experiment with different approaches in a safe environment. Time for feedback and reflection while the experience is still very fresh in their minds is an essential part of the process. Our facilitators help delegates gain most from the experiences. They focus on the process rather than the task and help delegates make the essential link with performance at work.
A valuable part of the programme design is personal feedback. As well as receiving feedback from colleagues and the facilitators, a number of personal preference questionnaires can be used to help individuals understand personal contribution and teamworking. (link to programmes)
